I'm Charlotte Hayward, an executive coach and leadership consultant.
I work with high-performing leaders who want to perform, lead and grow without sacrificing themselves in the process.
My approach is grounded in coaching, but shaped by more than coaching.
I spent more than 13 years at Reuters/Thomson Reuters, working across regional and global leadership roles spanning business leadership, sales, learning and development and organisational transformation.
I led a £30m+ business unit, worked across international markets and supported large-scale organisational change.
I also led learning and leadership initiatives supporting thousands of sales professionals across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
That experience taught me a lot about what leadership actually looks like when you're responsible for people, performance, change and results.
Over time, I became increasingly interested in what sits underneath performance.
Why can two equally capable people respond so differently to the same pressure?
Why do people sometimes know exactly what they need to change but struggle to make it happen?
Why can someone be successful while simultaneously feeling exhausted, overwhelmed or disconnected from what matters?
And what does it actually take to perform at your best sustainably?
Those questions led me towards executive coaching and ultimately to THRIVE.
I've come to believe that we too often separate performance from wellbeing.
We talk about leadership capability on one side and wellbeing on the other.
But the person doing the leading is the same person.
Their energy matters.
Their resilience matters.
Their relationships matter.
Their sense of purpose matters.
Their everyday choices matter.
THRIVE brings those pieces together.
I'm collaborative, curious and practical.
I listen carefully, ask questions that help you think differently and challenge you when it could help you move forward.
I won't arrive with a formula for how you should lead.
And I won't tell you what you should do.
Sometimes that means stepping back.
Sometimes it means challenging an assumption.
Sometimes it means seeing a situation from another perspective.
And sometimes it means turning an insight into one small change that makes a surprisingly big difference.

I'm naturally curious about people, performance and what helps us operate at our best.
I'm particularly interested in the relationship between leadership, wellbeing, resilience and sustainable performance.
I'm also passionate about supporting women returning to work and creating spaces where people can think, connect and grow. I volunteer for Smart Works charity and Queen Bee Coaching.
My core values shape the foundation of my coaching philosophy and practice. I'm committed to providing an environment where individuals can thrive, through compassion, collaboration, trust, and passion.
My aim is to provide transformative coaching experiences that empower individuals to make sustainable change.

Compassion is at the heart of my coaching approach. I believe understanding and empathy are essential in helping my clients navigate their challenges. I'm an empathetic listener allowing deep connection with each individual, recognising their unique experiences and emotions. I create a safe space where clients feel valued and understood, empowering them to explore their aspirations and overcome obstacles.
By working together with clients, we co-create strategies that align with their goals. My collaborative approach encourages open dialogue and shared insights, allowing clients to actively participate in their growth journey. I believe that the best solutions emerge from a partnership built on mutual respect and shared objectives, enhancing the effectiveness of the coaching experience.
For me honesty and integrity and trust are the pillars of success. Trust is fundamental to effective coaching. I strive to build a trusting relationship with each client, ensuring they feel secure in sharing their thoughts and feelings. This trust fosters honesty and openness, enabling deeper exploration of personal and professional challenges. My commitment to confidentiality and integrity reinforces this trust, allowing clients to engage fully in the coaching process without fear of judgment.
I'm passionate about getting the best from individuals and seeing them thrive. I'm dedicated to helping individuals discover and harness their strengths, guiding them towards achieving their goals. This passion fuels my enthusiasm for learning and growth, both for myself and my clients. I believe that when individuals are passionate about their pursuits, they are more likely to succeed and find fulfilment.
Ultimately, I'm interested in helping people succeed without losing themselves in the process.
